The Bubonic Plague, Ingenuity and Inspiration

The inspiration behind Airborne Shield

In the 1600’s when the black plague ravaged Europe, more than decimating the population, a few found a way to profit from the misfortunes of others. 4 alchemists and perfumists in London concocted a blend of oils which proved effective against warding off the deadly plague. This ingenuity—regardless of its dark intentions--allowed the men to ransack the homes of the dead and dying. The recipe became public knowledge when the magistrate offered leniency to the thieves if they would share the recipe for the concoction. Airborne Shield borrows greatly from this recipe with our own added improvements. Check out our Travel Shield. 2 oz carry on for clearing the air in the stuffy, germ crawling airplane cabin.

Dear Shanon,
Winter comes early and stays late here in the Pacific Northwest. By mid-October everyone is closed up in their houses and offices where the air is stale and recycled. All it takes is one person, who might not even know they are sick yet to infect ten others. And soon everyone you meet is either sick or just getting over some malady or another. This year however I used your product called SHIELD. I did not open my door without spraying myself and after 8 months I’m still illness free. What a great product! How nice to go to my local health food store and see it on the shelf. Keep up the great work.
